• Responsibilities:
• 1.Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports:
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency within Tableau visualizations.
• Optimize performance and enhance the user experience of Tableau dashboards.
• 2. Data integration and manipulation:
• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Tableau for analysis and visualization.
• Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Create calculated fields, parameters, and data hierarchies to support complex data analysis.
• 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
• Work closely with data analysts, business analysts, and software engineers to understand data requirements and design efficient Tableau solutions.
• Collaborate with database administrators and data engineers to optimize data integration processes and ensure scalability.
• 4. Documentation and quality assurance:
• Document data sources, data models, and Tableau workflows.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and usability of Tableau solutions.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates to existing Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and principles.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and data manipulation techniques.
• Familiarity with data modelling concepts and data warehousing principles.
• Experience with data integration from various sources (e.g., databases, APIs, Excel files).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Tableau Certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Certified Associate).
• Experience with Tableau Prep for data preparation and cleansing.
• Understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and automation.
